Nala’s Point of View

I don’t know what I should do or feel. My emotions are all mixed up right now, and I have no idea how to handle this. I’m hurt, nervous, on the verge of tears, annoyed, and angry. I’m so confused. There are so many questions bothering me, and I don’t know where to get the answers.

My hands are still shaking from what happened. I can’t understand what’s really going on. It’s like I’m inside a maze, and I don’t know where or how to get out.

The armed man let go of my arm as we entered the room. Despite my racing heart, I managed to look at the room we had entered.

The room was styled in modern Spanish. The walls were painted deep blue with extravagant gold accents, as if to signify their value.

In the middle of the room was a large four-poster bed with a plush, navy blue duvet. There were luxurious mahogany furnishings, a bronze lamp, and a dark wood nightstand. The high ceiling was adorned with a chandelier and sconce.
