"A new reform is going to be established, no more secret emergency deals," Matteo proclaimed, as he stood up signifying the end of the meeting.

The remaining eleven board members trudged out of the conference room dejected. The meeting had been an utter disaster.

"I would like to have a word with you Matteo," The middle aged man in glasses said gently to Matteo. He was the head of the board and he seemed anxious about something.

Matteo turned his attention towards the man, his eyes rapt with attention.

"We are currently breaching a contract, Matteo, I hope you know that?" The man cautioned

"I am aware of that, and whatever the consequences are, I am sure we'll deal with it...together this time" Matteo answered.

"The consequences may be too dire if we don't thread carefully," The man insisted.

Matteo was becoming more annoyed by the minute he spent with this worrisome member of the board.
