NICHOLAS STUCK WITHIN

Nicholas sourly cursed himself for being so stupid, he knew he was wasting time being angry at himself but he could not effectively dig the ground without a shovel.

"Fuck me!" he muttered under his breath as he surveyed the rocky terrain. He had to find a solution fast or it would be next to impossible to find his way out of the thick woods.

After much deliberation and searching, he finally settled for an old pine tree with holes at its roots, he hastily jammed the box inside one of the holes and covered it with leaves and sand.

It was a good thing he had used a clean cloth to wipe away his hand prints off the box, he dusted his gloved hands and looked around to make sure no one was watching him.

Thunder rolled in the distance, and he knew he needed to hurry. He turned around and started to find his way back to his car. He stumbled a few times but the long walk back to his vehicle was fairly uneventful.
