Chapter 33

“Dad?!” I called out to him the moment I stepped out of the vehicle.

I heard my friends’ footsteps following me. I need to see my Dad as soon as possible. I cannot let him see my good-for-nothing mother. She could do anything to him! I don’t know what my mother is like but there is only one thing I’m sure of. She’s a coward. I couldn’t say that the reason why she left is because she hates me. If she had known that she’s pregnant with me then she could have an abortion. But she didn’t do it. She brought me to the world.

Maybe at first she really wanted me. She loved me and was happy when she gave birth to me. I am uncertain of my own opinion but I think she’s afraid of the responsibility of raising a child. Dad mentioned that my mother would often have deep thoughts while looking at me. I might misinterpret things but that is what I thought. If she love me, why would she leave?
