Chapter 20: Together At Last

[Gia’s POV]

I don’t know how long I have been asleep for, but after feeling large currents of sparks and electricity covering my skin, I woke up and saw that it is still night outside. A dim light softly illuminates the reading area of the room.

My body is wrapped around Damen, with our legs intertwined. I feel another hard body spooning me from my backside, which alerts me to sit up. I look over to the man who was spooning me, and my heart skips a beat.

Max’s dreamy brown puppy dog eyes look deeply into mine, and I instantly smile. He sits up next to me, smiles and places his hand on one of my thighs to caress it softly. In my peripheral I see another male figure stand up in the reading area.
