Isabella POV
I’m in Carter’s office. I’m sitting on the sitting area away from his desk having lunch while Carter worked.
The whole office has been buzzing with gossip about Carter and I, few people who were at his sisters fashion show saw us together so there has been speculations about our relationship. No one has directly asked me anything as of yet but I have been receiving glances all over the office all day. So I was glad when Carter asked me to have lunch with him in his office, technically he’s working and I’m eating.
Carter’s intercom line buzzed, and he frowned at the interruption. He had told me he has a busy day working on some project, he didn’t really expand but he looked busy when I walked in and I heard him tell his secretary he didn’t want to be disturbed.

Isabella’s POV Another rather uneventful day at work, well till it took an eventful turn. Isabella’s POV After yesterday night, after our fight Carter and I didn’t talk much. He stayed over at my apartment and left in the early hours of the morning. I don’t see him again till he calls me to his office to have lunch with him which by the way he didn’t stay. He was insanely busy. Three conference calls. Two meetings, plus countless other calls he had to return. So there was no crazy hot office sex to alleviate the burn, or any making up after our fight. Or maybe the insanely hot sex we had last night was us making up. Anyway I have lunch alone in his office. And suddenly I was back to sulking, even as ridiculous as that made me feel, I missed him. By closing time, I was hugely relieved. Couldn’t wait to get the hell out of the office, don’t get me wrong I love my job here. Isabella’s POVI wake up alone in Carter’s bed which is not unusual for him. For someone who sleeps late he also never sleeps in even during weekends like today he’s up early.I check the time on the bedside clock and it says past 11 am, almost 12. I look around for my phone I don’t know where I dropped last night.I don’t find it in Carter’s bedroom so I just go into the bathroom brush my teeth, by the way I even have my own toothbrush here. Carter’s POV Isabella was icing me out, well can’t say I don’t deserve it because I do. I knew if people saw us getting intimate at the glass room they would probably be repercussions and I didn’t do anything to stop it. I didn’t even do anything to stop it when George told someone had recorded us and if I wanted to do something to stop the video of us getting out. Hell I even knew someone was recording us but I did nothing because I’m selfish and a huge asshole who wants the world to know Isabella is mine. This whole relationship for me isn’t supposed to be real but it can’t not be real, we’re in too deep already and I don’t care anything but making Isabella happy. I haven’t seen her all week. She has also stopped going to work, I’m not sure if she quit because we barely talk now. I mean we talked few times on the phone but mostly awkward greetings with long pauses and I’m so fucking tired of not being with her.

Isabella’s POV We walk back to our bedroom, kissing slowly the whole way there. When we’re finally inside Carter turns me away from him and slowly slides down the zipper on my dress. His lips linger over mine, and then as if remembering what he was doing, he spins me back toward him and holds me still. I’m in a red, lacy bra and matching lace G-string. His eyes drop down my body, and when they rise to my face, his eyes are blazing with desire. I stand still, unable to move. The heat of his gaze is burning my skin as his eyes roam all over me.
