CHAPTER 47
Isabella’s POV
It’s finally the weekend, we just got to The Hamptons. Stephanie is having her close friends and family in her beach house for her birthday. I got her a present even though Carter specifically told me not to get her anything but that’s just rude going to a birthday party without any present. Anyway I know she’s into clothes and fashion so I got her a vintage 1950’s Chanel bag, there’s only 3 of those ever made I brought it in an auction.
There are only about 50 people here for the birthday celebration, some I know some I don’t know. Most people in the fashion and entertainment industry.
When we get to her beach house we first see Johnny who immediately drags me away from Carter to go find Steph.
“Birthday girl.” Johnny calls Steph and she jumps

Carter’s POV We pass George on the hallway and he grins mischievously at me carrying Isabella in my arms while she blushes deep red. Isabella’s POVI can’t believe we slept off. It’s so peaceful and quiet here unlike the city. I look for my little travel size hand bag, I had carried a couple of swimsuits, a summer dress and other essentials before coming here we’re going back into the city early in the morning.It’s 2.am now Carter is sleeping peacefully beside me, I unwrap his arm carefully from around me and hop out of bed noticing my bag at the end of the room.
