Thirty Two

Killian insisted I went shopping with him since I was getting ready to head home for the holidays. He wasn't happy that I was going home, saying that he would be stuck here without company.

"Okay, I can be your shopping buddy. But trust me, I'll spare you thirty minutes tops, I'll leave."

"Oh, I'll take what I can get," he pouted. "I'm really going to miss you."

"Oh god, don't start."

We strolled through the mall together, browsing through various shops. Killian got several new outfits and wanted to get new stuff for me but I refused.

I had lots of new clothes that I hadn't even tried on and I wasn't a hoarder and loved a minimal wardrobe.

"You know, I still think you should spend time with your family. It's the holidays, after all," I said to Killian.

"Nah. I'd rather stay here. Kevin isn't going home either, so it's more fun to stay at school."

" I don't understand male logic. Y'all are weird. I wonder why you guys don't like going home to spend time with your family."
