Chapter 15

So it's been a while. That means she's single. I shouldn't care, it's none of my business, but I do. I care a fucking a lot, and I can't sit here and deny that I wasn't pleased with the fact that she was single—not that I can actually do anything about it.

"You know what I'm wondering?" Wyatt pipes up, resting his elbows on the table, his long fingers laced together while looks from Mira to me, his eyes full of delight. "Now you're both bound together for God only knows how long, you're clearly going to have to share a bed." Wyatt sniggers. "Will you shower together? And more importantly, how does your girlfriend feel about all of this?"

Mira and I look at one another. I scratch my forehead, suddenly incapable of forming any words. My mind goes completely blank. "We certainly will not be showering together. I can promise you that."
