Blakely I awoke to a myriad of strange scents, one of them being Azrael’s, and a raging case of cotton mouth. Rolling over in bed, I snatched the goblet off the side table, and brought it to my lips all without checking the contents. Thankfully, it was cold water that splashed against my tongue, deliciously crisp as it trickled down my throat. Only after I set the goblet down did I realize I was naked beneath the blankets. How lovely. Memories of what happened at the brothel crashed over me, threatening to send me into a panic. Blakely My heart picked up its pace with every step I took towards the two snorting creatures. Sweat trickled down my spine. The air around them was several degrees hotter than the surrounding street. Two sets of eyes, both burning like hot coals, turned my way.
