Anastasia's POV.

"You have been released from here. Thanks to the accuser who changed her mind." The policeman informed me after I spent a few hours in jail.

"Thank you very much." I told him, then walked out of the Station.

My mind went to my daughter immediately. My phone isn't with me, and I wondered what made me forget the phone in Ashley's hand.

"I was waiting for them to release you, they did already." The lady whom I stabbed with a knife walked up to me, jolting me from my thoughts.
