Tristan's POV.

I saw the mark right on her neck; it was so obvious. I walked forward to her when I saw that she didn't want to answer me. My thumb went to her chin while I slowly raised it up.

"Who did this to you? Who was responsible for this?" I questioned her while she just quivered in fear. "Can we not discuss it here?" She requested. Her life was literally in danger, and she is telling me about it.

"Is it your father? Ezra? Penelope? Who did it to you?" There is no way Ezra would harm her like that. I think he liked her, and there was no way that he would do something to harm her this way.

"No one! What exactly is it that you want?" The tears flowed down her eyes, while she hurriedly walked out of the hall.

"I think that you should follow her. I don't think she is safe here; maybe you two could get to go to him." Anna told her.

"Thank you very much, guys." I appreciated them, and then I walked out of the room as well. She was outside, and she almost carried a cab
