Tristan's POV.

I could smell her immediately when I entered the house.

"Did someone break in? You locked the door." Torry said this to me after I saw the box that was placed on the chair.

He was the new personal assistant I got; it was Penelope who helped me find him. I didn't care about him.

I hated the fact that he was too clingy, and he was always trying his best to get me to like him, knowing that I didn't give a fuck about that. Whether I like him or not is irrelevant to me.

All I needed to do was focus on something else. I didn't reply to him the way I have always done.

"Don't open the box; what if something dangerous is there?" He asked when I tried opening the box that I saw on the chair. I knew who entered my room from the scent already.

She must have been here because the scent was still strong when I walked upstairs to my room. I knew she was in the room when I walked in. I gave in to exhaustion and decided to take off my clothes.
