The Healing Light

Isla's POV:

I dressed quickly into a simple embroidered gown and braided my hair applying some lip gloss. I was still feeling so weak after everything and the exhaustion was making my movements slower. I was still worried about how Alpha Caden screamed in his sleep. I couldn’t believe that I went ahead and put his head on my lap. The way he calmed down immediately with my touch was so amusing for me.

‘ He is our mate for a reason. We cannot pretend that his scent doesn’t affect us.’ Riley said.

I wanted to think about everything and to plan the next steps. But I didn't want to get in trouble for being late in the kitchen because Sabrina had proved how cunning she could get if somebody was not her favorite.
