CHAPTER 23

Melinda’s POV

“Kramen, you are finally back.” I rushed over to greet him at the doorstep. “While you were gone, Keith had called. He is totally fine.”

“Is he now?” Kramen snapped, shrugging his shoulders with a nonchalant expression. “I thought we had finally gotten rid of him.”

“Kramen! Don’t say things just to hurt me.” I grabbed his shoulders and looked into his eyes. “You know you don’t mean that. If something had really happened to him, you would be the one who regrets the most.”

“You care only about him, don’t you?” He shrugged off my hands from his shoulders and snorted. “Kain and I are just something to be used and discarded, right?”

“It is not like that, Kramen.” I cupped his face. “I swear, I care about all three of you equally.”

“If that is the case, I am sure you won’t mind me.” He grabbed my shoulders and pushed me against the wall. Placing both his arms on either side of me, he bit my lower lip and then started kissing me roughly.

“Kramen!” I shouted; pushing him away.
