Sipping the whiskey in the wine glass, Damien set the glass on the desk before Roy stepped into the office.

"We made a deal with the alpha of the crescent moon pack, and I hope you didn't forget you'll be meeting him today?" Roy asked as he stepped into the room.

Damien nodded, ticking a box on one of the papers before him. He puffed out a breath, dropping the pen and pushing the paper aside.

He looked at Roy for a long time, making the latter frown.

"Is there something you need to say to me? I am all ears. You know I listen to whatever you have to say, and as your beta, I am in the right position to give a piece of advice based on what I understand." Roy said.

"I am going to bring Emberlynn back to the pack house. I miss her so much," Damien said.
