DARK FORTY SEVEN

Blake's POV: 

When I saw him jumped on the water, my mind just got worse and I couldn't think of anything but to jump and get him out of it. I'm not liking this, I can't. I shiver from the cold, as my body turned completely soaked by the water and I tried to open my eyes, only to close them again. It stings. The first thing I felt was how the water choked my neck as if it was stopping the air to get inside my lungs, but I didn't budge.

I opened my eyes again, hoping that I will see Alex. My eyes widened, I saw him! I saw his tiny frame, blurrily and I willed my feet to waggle. I ignore the stinging pain on my chest, bubbles escaping out of my lips, telling me the need to breathe. I moved my hands with a desperate force from my arms. When I felt the water pushing inside my nose and my lips, I know that I'm going to fail. I know I can't swim, and I hate myself for that.

Feeling the hopes leaving my body, I guess
