It doesn't take Noah long to come back with what I had asked for. I carefully move Stefan's head and put it on the pillow as Noah passes it to me. I get up off the floor and cover him with the blanket. I want to give Noah a hug as a thank you, but I know it won't go down too well after his comment. So I bypass him and go straight over to Dominic. I give him a kiss and lay down on the bed next to him. I look over at Noah.

"Thank you, Noah. I will meet you in Dominic's office when we wake."

He just nods and leaves, closing the door behind him. I turned over in his arms and whispered,

"Was it really that bad for all those years? Did I.."

"My Lady, I have no regrets. I would go through it all again if it means having you."

"But my King, wouldn't your life be easier if your mate was someone else?"

"Yes, my Lady, that is a possibility, but I meant what I said Seraphina, you are my life and I would never want anyone else."
