The sun was peeking through the bluish sky as the birds started chirping with the cold breeze swaying the leaves of the trees as it was cold today. Her eyes opened as she groaned a little due to the uncomfortable position she was lying on the couch. She waited for Gareth whole night again as it’s been two days since she had seen him. She didn’t bother him again by calling him as he was already tense. She wasn’t going to university as her vacations were almost here so she decided to go after them. "Don't you think that your husband would find you soon?" Sasha said as she entered the small furnished cottage but that was enough for Ava to stay there for some days. That cottage was located outside the city as she was glad she had a friend like Sasha who was willing to help her. "I have brought some snacks." Ben entered chirping with few bags in his hands. They both came to her immediately as she called for help. Ava just called Sasha but she talked to him as he found out this small cottage in a minute for her. "N-no..." Her voice barely reached her own ears as she felt Gareth's white shirt getting stained with his blood. There were splashes of blood across her face but they didn't belong to Gareth. She finally took a shower as it was a fancy hospital room with a fancy restroom. She managed to sneak out of the room as Gareth was sleeping. He was in the effect of deep anaesthesia as he was barely awake for even a minute and then drifted to sleep again. The doctor said he was out of danger and so was Emir as he barely made to walk two steps ahead after two weeks of assaulting. Gareth was also safe of any internal bleeding through his vital organs. "What's the occasion?" Mrs Vera entered the room as seeing everyone happy hugging each other made her curious. She had her guards following her but they stood outside the room refraining to invade the privacy of the family members. Everyone's laugh died down as Kylian glanced at Vera with a bitter smirk adoring his face. Everything she did flashed in front of his eyes like a black and white film as there was mostly darkness in it. "Hope you are good Kylian?" Vera didn't look surprised seeing Kylian as she was always like this—prepared and disciplined. "I can't be more good. I am back to my home." Kylian replied with his lip tight and hardened jaw.
