With hasty and galloping steps, Emma walked over to the terrace to see Richmond's clearly disorganized state. Behind her Pedro followed at a more relaxed pace and seemed unconcerned. Because of that man, his chance to seduce Emma has failed. His intention to kill Emma also failed. But that's okay, he'll try again tomorrow. After all, he had more chances to snare Emma as long as the useless man remained indifferent to his wife.
