~TWENTY EIGHT~
Nicole
So today I'm meeting Kyle's parents. I've heard stories of how mothers in-law behave and reject their son's choice so I'm prepared for anything although I'm tensed.When we arrive at his folk's house we welcomed by Kyle's sister, Shillah, she's a jovial person,I guess I'll make her a friend. At least I got someone who likes me from his family.His dad is so welcoming and I feel at home. When his mum comes from the kitchen she sizes me and ignores me completely. What I have been dreading just happened to me. She goes on to hug her dear son and then acts like I'm non existent.
She's a modern mother, her make up is on point,she's wearing a Kitenge from Nigerian movies, her fashion is something else although how she's treating me I wonder if she'll ever love me maybe she has someone in mind for her son.

The drive to Kyle's house is a silent one.
