~Ren~
Cali was bugging me all night for details about my stay with Devin. She won’t believe me that we didn’t do the deed, so here I am in front of the food truck, in need of too much caffeine on a Monday morning.
This chapter is R-18*******************~Ren~The week almost went on in a smooth flow. Devin’s kind gestures towards me and his employees continued to excite everyone. They actually congratulated me - that wasn’t necessary - one way or the other. The attention being given to us by my co-employees was starting to feel usual to me. Although, sometimes I still feel that I don’t belong in Devin’s perfect world.Devin called me to his office by Friday morning.“Did you need anything?” I was a little puzzled because Friday was a lean day for him.“Come here, Babe” that endearment he uses towards me is getting familiar as the day goes by. He motioned me to sit on his lap but I didn’t do as he asked. “Here” he patted his lap, but I shook my head.“We’re in your office, Devin” I bit my lip. His offer was tempting. However, I need to stay in my place.&
This chapter is R-18*******************~Devin~Soft lips were caressing mine, warm hands were tracing my jaw and torso under my shirt. I knew it was Ren. A smile tugged my lips.If waking up beside her would be like this every day, I’d ask her to move in with me then. When I opened my eyes, her lips were still kissing me and I kissed her with equal fervor. She crawled over my body, her legs on both sides of my waist. My hands were drawing circles on her bare legs. I like that she wore the silk nighties I bought for her, but she just couldn’t let go of her obsession with sweatshirts.“Babe” I groaned when her core rubbed above my growing erection.“Hmm?” her eyes flicker with desire, her lips left my mouth, and placed soft kisses on my neck. I like what she’s doing, but I know that she isn’t ready for me.I held both of her wrists and pinned her back on the bed. She yelped in sur
~Devin~Have you ever felt an itch in your back that you can’t reach? The kind that even if you bend your hand upward or downward, you still can’t reach to rub that itch? Gross analogy, but that’s what I’m feeling right now.

~Ren~Greece is really pretty humid, but beautiful. I didn’t even know that Devin’s family owns an island. An entire freaking island!Whew. Crazy rich people. After his private jet landed in Athens, we boarded a chopper for another thirty minutes; I got a glimpse of the beautiful island the Mávros owns. Miles of clear blue water surround the island. Through the glass walls, their family mansion reflects the vast, powerful ocean. Waves and waves as far as the eye can see were being mirrored by the chalk white walls, emanating the light blue shade of the house. Each whistle of the ocean breeze made the tree leaves sway in tune, allowing me to feel a good connection with nature. The interior of the mansion was even breathtaking. The glass wall allowed the
~Ren~Two pairs of the same green irises, the same shade looking back at me when I look in the mirror, stared back at me. “Ren,” my sister broke the long awkward silence as I stared blankly at them.Everything ceased to exist. The classical piece from the orchestra matching the theme of the event, the low chatter and laugh of the guests, the clutter of the glasses and silverware, gone… just like that. All I could focus on is the rapid beating of my heart.I can’t believe Cali didn’t tell me that they’ll be here. She knows how I detest seeing Mr. Reed. She knows that I would never go to any gathering where he is on the guest list.“I need a drink,” turning my back on them, Devin caught my arms before I could walk away. His
Three years later...~Ren~The doorbell sounded. A knock, loud enough instantaneously followed, enough for me to hear it from the closed door of my room in our humble apartment.“I’m coming!” Gathering my still-wet hair into a messy bun, I took a glimpse at myself in the vanity mirror in my walk-in closet. When I’m sure I look decent, I practically run to open the door. Afraid that the wood might shatter to four from the loud pounding made by the person on the other side.Skipping two steps at a time in my bare feet, I twisted the knob only to be met by gardens of lilies, Cali’s signature scent.“I miss you, sissy!” Cali whispered on my neck.
