“Catalina, I will be the most honest with you, I don’t know how to plan a party, even if it meant my life, I would fumble,” I said leaning over the kitchen island.
“That’s okay, I will handle everything, all you have to do is invite Mr. Douglas’s friends” Catalina replied.
“That I can do” That I cannot do, I don’t have access to his friends,
I never thought I would succeed in getting so drunk, I was not really thinking straight so I decided for my own safety I would go and sit by myself and sober up. I was wondering where Tyler was, I hadn’t seen him since the party started and I didn’t even know why I was as concerned as I was. I was murmuring the lyrics to the song that was playing.“Siobhan,” Tyler said and I turned around “what are you doing?”
A few weeks laterI wonder where Tyler is, I went to his office earlier today and he didn't mention that he was coming late to me, I didn't notice that he wasn't back until Catalina pointed it out to me, “Catalina I guess you can go now, Thanks for waiting with me"“Are you okay waiting
“Siobhan” Tyler breathed out“I brought you lunch” I smiled and walked in to drop the bag, "you two can continue your meeting, or whatever this is""Siobhan don't be a baby we are just talking"
I had been thinking about it for a while and I just needed to do it as a gesture of politeness and humanity, I took my phone and called Tyler. It rang once, twice, and three times before he picked it up.“Hello,”“Hey Tyler,” I said
“I am sure you are pretty excited that Mr. Douglas is coming back home today,” Catalina asked while drying some of the dishes from our lunch I rubbed my sweaty palms together, it had been a little less than three hours since Gwen dropped me at home and I had been waiting patiently for Tyler.“Yes I am, Thanks for staying here with me to receive him and thanks for helping me cook dinner”
TYLER'S POV."Hey, uncle Marco" I hugged him and sat down in front of his desk “Thank you for seeing me on such short notice ” he settled down."You don't need to make an appointment to see me you know that right, you can just swoop in anytime you want to. Where is Siobhan?"
3RD PERSON’S POV“Where are they?” Helen (Tyler’s mother) asked“I don’t know; CATALINA,” Catalina didn’t answer because she was not supposed to be in the house on weekends.
We reached the door and Tyler typed in a security code “I swear you’ll love it”“Tyler I don’t trust me, what if there is a paint bucket above the door and if I enter it would dump on me”“The possibilities of that happening are zero to none
