Chapter 86.

Dahlia POV.

It has been four days since the incident, and the room has been completely changed. The bed replaced. What should have been a happy occasion was overshadowed by deceit and death.

But no matter, we have a couple of things to look forward to. Like the wedding and the birth of our daughter. So here I am sitting in the living room having what gran calls afternoon tea. While we talk about the wedding. I was shocked when mom brought a huge binder filled with wedding ideas.

Apparently she has waited for this moment since I was born and so she started working on this. My heart fell out of my ass when she showed me what she had put together. I know she was joking, or maybe only half joking, but still it was sweet and not all her ideas are bad ones.

“Here, drink this and you need to eat more.” My gran says as she passes me a glass of peach iced tea and a little plate with finger foods on it. I chuckle as I lean back into the cushions and take small bites and small sips of my drink.
