Chapter 31: Lake House Party - Amory

I feel sick when I wake up wrapped in Spin when I know my daughter was asleep in my arms last night. I jump up to find that I’m sandwiched between Spin and her. She’s lying there coloring, “morning mama”!

I dropped my face into my palms and sighed in relief, “Gabby girl, how long have you been up?” I asked her as I looked at the mess around the room.

“Not long, can’t find my iPad”, she says as she kicks her feet in the air while scribbling on the coloring book in front of her.

“Maybe Jonny or Courtney has it. Come on, let’s get dressed and find out”, I told her as we climbed out of the bed.

I was just about done dressing Stephany when Spin sat up. “Hey baby girls, where are you going”?

“Nowhere Spin, Gabby can’t find her iPad so we’re getting dressed before we go to see if Jonny or Courtney has it”, I tell him.

“How about we all get dressed and head out for breakfast, just the three of us?”, he suggests.
