Darkening Desire

Belle wrinkled her nose as she looked at his expression. She noted he was being sincere but couldn’t help her words, “You’re joking.”

“Why? Do I look like someone who doesn’t wish to settle down?” He responded back, bringing her toward the bathroom without her realizing it.

“Demons wish for that too?” She asked, not wanting to be rude but couldn’t imagine it happening.

“Of course, that elderly couple I talked about weren’t humans but demons. Even my father wanted to settle down, thus us his seven children.” Leon became more open as he talked.

She looked at him, still curious, “Who did your father married to?”

“My mother, she was a simple human,” he hummed, “They met when he travelled to the human world. It was just out of a habit that he does when he get bored with Hell. Back then, there weren’t that many who could travel outside Hell but my father had always been the King, he was the most powerful.”
