Chapter 39

Katherine followed Gavin upstairs as he led her through the hallway. On each side of the wall were great pieces of art. It was so beautiful that it almost looked like an exhibit.

Katherine smiled for the first time in a long while, she really loves art, and at this moment her painful thoughts disappear, although it was brief, it was worth it, seeing this was worth it.

The door by the left of the hallway was pushed open by Gavin and he walked in rolling Katherine’s luggage.

Katherine stepped on and her eyes dilated at the room, her lips parted and she glanced around. It was the best bedroom she has ever set foot in, even the hotel she went to with her mother while on vacation which she thought was the best didn’t match this one.

"This will be your room until the wedding," Gavin told her after waiting for some minutes, he had seen her admiring the place and didn’t want to interrupt, whereas, he had been like this the first day he stepped into this house.
