Chapter 57

After breakfast with Alexander, Katherine walked back into the hotel room, they have not spoken again after their conversation earlier today.

She fell asleep in tears and was awakened for breakfast at past ten. She had dressed in a nice red dress that stopped right above her knees. She had found it among the dresses arranged in the wardrobe.

They suited her perfectly as if it was made just for her, she looked beautiful in the dress, but Alexander didn't even look at her, no compliment her, all he did was eat in silence and indifference.

Katherine exhales softly as she looks at the lonely room. It was spacious, she was here and he was here too, but it felt so empty.

Even her stay at the other building with Gavin has been eventful and less lonely than this, it all looks like being married to empty spaces.

Katherine glanced at the balcony to find Alexander there, she didn't want to be stuck in this place for all her honeymoon days.
