Third POVRex woke up from a terrible nightmare, shaking and sweating. The dream was so vivid, so real. It was like he could still feel the cold hand of death on his neck. In the dream, he watched helplessly as Ivory, his mate, was killed by a shadowy figure. As the dream ended, he could hear her screams echoing in his head.He sat up in bed, breathing hard. He was drenched in sweat, and his heart was racing. It took him a few moments to remember that it was just a dream.After a few minutes, Rex's racing heart began to slow down.
