Chapter Twenty Nine

Nathan parked his car and stood outside the three storey building. From the looks of it, it was a spacious apartment complex, housing not more than three apartments. He walked up to the floor Brooke lived on and knocked on the door.

“Hey, welcome.” Brooke greeted as she opened the door. She looked beautiful wearing black trousers and yellow silk top with balloon sleeves. Her hair flowy, a few flicks looming over her eyes. Nathan’s fingers itched to touch those soft locks and tuck them behind her ear. For a minute there, Nathan forgot to reply back.

“Thanks,” he said once he regained his footing. “Umm…your house looks great.”

“Oh thank you. It’s not much, but it works for me.” She replied and guided him to the living room.
