49. Double Date

When the doorbell echoed through the house, Lea jumped, almost running outside. She was afraid of being intercepted by Mrs. Anna or her father. Instead of allowing them to say or do things that could be disadvantageous later, she quickly took Daniel and left.

But it seemed she was too late. Her parents, as if intentionally, were already waiting in the living room. Oh no! Lea grumbled in frustration. How could they do this?

Daniel, chatting with Lea's parents, was immediately captivated when he caught sight of the girl.
