22. Need to Be Careful

The sound of water dripping in the bathroom prompted me to awaken. Despite my drowsiness, the persistent sound of water compelled me to become completely awake as I gazed around. This occurrence led me to ponder: Why was there dripping water? Contemplating whether I had neglected to close the faucet after using it, I furrowed my brow.

Suddenly, realization struck me – I had unintentionally fallen asleep, leaving the faucet running.

I sat on the bed, and my eyes roamed around the room as I felt that there was an uncanny scent I was smelling. The scent of stale musk perfume, cigarette, and something… I furrowed my brows even more. Why is there a manly smell when I'm the only one here?
