17. Happen

Camilla waited at home in a huff. She was very curious as to what was happening at the location, i.e. Kairav's residence.

"Mom must have reached there by now. So would Detective Miguel." Camilla talked to herself while pacing around the living room sofa.

"What's going on now? There must be a lot of noise and excitement," she said again. "I hope Kairav is caught this time!"

Camilla continued pacing, looked at the clock on the wall, and then bit her finger because it felt like time was running out.

"Oh my! I wonder how they're doing now!" Camilla sighed impatiently. "I want to be there and see what happens!"

"What's taking them so long?" she said with a groan.

Camilla couldn't take it anymore. Finally, the girl ran out of her house and across her tiny yard. She stopped a passing taxi and headed back to Kairav's home address.
