Despite the disinclination, Stephen led me towards the elevator and then we reached the top floor of the building. Passing the hallway we entered a white room. Everything in that room was white except the long conference desk and chairs. They're black. At the head of the table was sitting a man in his early fifties, in a while buttoned up shirt and black slacks. His wrinkly face was clean-shaven, his white and black mixed combed hair was pushed back and his thin lips were holding a cigar.

"Hello, Ms. Rauf. Nice to finally meet you." He spoke softly before taking a long drag from his cigar.

His cold voice was so mysterious that I forgot Alex, Mariano, John, Romano, Eva, Alfredo, Amelie and Victor were sitting around the table. They were dead silent. The darkness, dangerousness, ruthlessness, and devilishness were gone from their characteristics. The only thing screaming in their eyes was fear, subordination, and obligation.
