When the young doctor had told me that Alana was pregnant, I felt like jumping around across the room like a baby to show how happy I was.

My joy knew no bounds and I started to wonder why I had not thought about the possibility of her being pregnant.

It had already been months since she got her so she had every chance to be pregnant with my child but that never occurred to me.

Not for once did I think that she was going to be carrying my baby very soon but now I felt like that happiest man alive.

Maybe the reason why I had not noticed anything at all was because I had not been around any pregnant women before now.

I don't think I have even seen one, because they hardly ever come out when they are pregnant.

This is to avoid stress of any kind since female wolves tend to be very sensitive and could lose their baby due to any pain.

Not only could they lose their babies, it was also very easy for them to lose their lives when they were pregnant except the very strong ones.
