Chapter 21

Growing up was never as easy for Joshua and Tiffany as for their lifestyle. From the age of ten years old, Joshua remembers gang violence. Joshua remembered he had always been the one to protect his sister. The area he grew up in was a ghetto. Merchants and drug addicts stood on corners looking for a way to maintain their habits. Joshua would never have thought he would ever use drugs. He saw how drugs made people lose pride and neglect their Hygiene. The house he grew up in was huge, but he thought his dad had an ordinary job as he always saw his dad leaving in a suit.

He was always well dressed, and the cars his dad drove were always in a Garage, barely on the road as he the SUV picking his dad up every day.

He never imagined his dad being the kingpin of all the drug lords.

He could never understand why people carried this tremendous amount of respect for him when he passed them. He thought it was the way of life.
