Lila's POV

I groaned, rolling over in bed. I yawned and fluttered my eyes open. I screwed my eyes shut and groaned... The light was too bright. I'm still so tired. I feel like I haven't slept at all.

I felt Alarix stir beside me. I opened one eye and stared at him. He gave me a drowsy smile; that travelled straight to my core.

"Are you ok?" He whispered, chuckling.

I opened both my eyes fully and gave him a half-smile. "Are you ok?" I urged apprehensively.

He nodded, then rested his head on the pillow. "I'm sorry for how I acted last night," he murmured. I smiled, reaching forward. I gave him a chaste kiss on his cheek before moving down the bed, resting my head against his chest.

"Did it help last night, or do you need more?" I questioned.

"Lila." He stated as he scooted down the bed until he was lying face to face with me. "I'm good now, I promise. I will tell you next time." He declared, moving my hair away from my face.

"Good," I smiled and yawned again.

"Yo
