73. Piss him off!

Author's POV

"Veronica?"

Sayesha called but Vera was lost in her world. She was thinking about something else, completely forgetting that her hot coffee is slowly getting cold.

Sayesha sighed scrunching her nose and knowing that Vera wasn't listening to her.

"Vera!"

She scolded and Vera flinched.

"What's wrong with you, woman!?"

"I am so sorry..."

Vera shook her head and took a sip of her coffee.

"I was just zoned out."

"What happened?"

Sayesha frowned, sensing tension in her behaviour.

"You know you can share with me, right?"

Vera smiled at Sayesha, They are best friends since medical studies and she was always her well wisher.

Unlike Vera, Sayesha is fierce and lady boss of her own life and Vera admires that about her.

"Have your husband has ever threatened you to kill a man who looks at you?"

Vera asked.

Sayesha smirked.

"Ohh, Daddy material!... I want to meet your husband, interesting character."

"He wasn't bluffing, he was serious and you know he can do that..."
