Blind date gone wrong

"How do you think I look? Do I look outstanding?" Ellen asked her sister who was lying on the bed, and watched how her sister continuously checked her face on the huge mirror over and over again.

"I thought you said it was for the formality, and that you literally do not want to go on this date," Emma countered immediately, which made Ellen snicker at her younger sister.

She was never the kind to give sarcastic replies to questions in the past, and barely talked back even if she wanted to say things out. But it seemed like associating closely with her elder sister had made things begin to change, that she could now make jokes and laugh loudly if something was funny.
