The next few days were not that eventful. Most of the kids in their class skipped school. They were given respite. Braze was missing and so was Kian and Betty.Mira didn't feel like texting or calling them. She casually attended class and went back to her room, ticking days off the calendar before she had to pack her bags and leave. She tried calling her mother several times but she didn't answer. She called the caterer in their area to ask if everything at home was alright but they said that they hadn't seen her mother for many days. At Chemora-Kilian sprang out of that tub holding his chest and throat. Sitara rubbed his back as he coughed blood on the floor. The colour of the liquid in that tub had just changed to turquoise as Kilian reappeared. " Breathe... " Sitara instructed , hitting the back of his lungs.
