The little bell rang as I entered the café alerting the employees of a new costumer.
I scanned the area looking around for Robert while walking over to the counter thinking probably he was at the back.
"Hello, what can I get for you?" The guy standing behind the counter asked.
"Hi, mm- is Robert working today?"
"Nah, he worked the late night shift yesterday, I don't think he's coming in today." he replied while cleaning the counter top.
"Oh."
"Okay, is there anything else I can help you with?" He asked again.
"Sure, I'll just have a cheesecake and ice tea with whipped cream and sprinkles." the guy supposingly named Jeff from him name tag stopped writing and looked at me like I had something on my face.
