32. War Memorial

Angel seemed to have just opened his eyes when he felt the warmth of sunlight penetrating the glass walls in the inpatient room. He blinked for a few moments to adjust his vision.

"Eengg... it's morning..." groaned Angel as he spread his arms wide to stretch his stiff muscles.

"Good morning dear?"

Angel turned quickly to find her mother, who looked fresh and was having breakfast. That's when he remembered someone who kept hugging him last night. "Where is he?"

"Who is he?" asked Mrs. Matthew frowned.

"Ah no," answered Angel as he sat up, "I think I was just dreaming."

"You look so sleepy like you're very tired, Angel."

Angel was silent while biting her lower lip, remembering that last night she and Erick really made great love here. Even though the man had coated their surroundings with an atmosphere that no one else could see or hear, it was like getting an extraordinary sensation from being able to make love in a public place.
