Chapter 13

As the black wolf approached her slowly, Jennifer was too stunned to avert her gaze from its piercing eyes. When the wolf came five feet close to her, she realized how big the wolf was. How could a wolf be a giant like it?

She returned to her senses, thinking the wolf would attack her.

“No, don’t hurt me,” She cried.

The wolf did not stop moving. So she put her hand over her face and begged,

“D-Don’t kill me, please.”

Because of the fall, she could not stand up and run. So begging was the last option for her.

Anticipating an attack, she braced herself, but to her surprise, no attack materialized. As she cautiously uncovered her face, she realized there was nobody present.

“W-Where is the wolf? Did I hallucinate? She looked around like a lost child.

No traces, nothing. She could not find the wolf again, as if the wolf had just vanished.
