We finally landed at the Murtala Mohammed airport in Lagos after almost ten hours of flying and unlike Funke who slept almost through the flight, I was awake for most of the flight sleeping for only 3hrs. Since it was just us on the plane, I had enough time to catch up on novels that I had put off reading for a while. Anything to keep my mind off Ethan, for now, was what I planned on doing.

It was past 6 pm when the nice pilot and stewardess helped us get our bags.

We took our bags and walked to the arrival sign, all the while, Funke kept struggling with her three suitcases and I laughed at her misery. We got outside the airport and waited for the Ubers that we asked our friend Anjola to book for us.

We looked around until we saw two men holding placards with our names on them.

"See them, let's go," I told Funke and we walked towards them.
