I knew somehow I had to be at the pack's biggest ball event. It wasn't a do-or-die though, but getting in won't be as difficult as it could have been if my mate wasn't the Alpha.

He could even order for the event not to take place, and nothing much would be done against his decision.

It was quite weird that Ethan didn't get an invitation, but Charlotte managed to secure an extra for me.
