The one where she bangs her husband

~Bella~

He left? Just like that!

The stranger who was staring at me as if he would consume was just gone like that!

I felt a sharp feeling of pain as if a part of me had been cut off. It was a feeling of disappointment.

I shook my head. 'Silly girl! Why is it any of your business that he left!'

Of course, he would leave. He had no reason to stay. What would Parker think if he knew I was thinking such useless thoughts.

It was good that the man was gone. Our encounter was too unnerving. Hopefully, we'd never see each other again.

"What's wrong? What are you staring so intently at?" Parker asked, following my gaze to the empty spot where my mystery man had been sitting. "There's nothing there."

I jolted out of my reverie. "Oh, no. Sorry, it's nothing. I just... I remembered something, that's all. Let's go?"

He nodded, giving me a worried look.

I gave him a reassuring smile and tugged on his hand. "Come on. Let's go."

I pulled him away but just before we went out the door, I couldn't help but look back at the empty spot again.

A part of me mourned those intense feeling I'd felt in those few seconds that felt more like hours.

I shook my head again and walked out, leaving him and those feelings behind forever.

I clung closer to my husband's arms and pressed a kiss to his forearm.

He looked down at me and smiled. "By the way, you came in late today. What happened?" He asked.

I groaned. "I got caught up taking care of some stuff. And then the traffic was horrid. Felt like everyone in the division was out on the road at the same time."

Parker nodded. "It was that way when I was coming too." He'd left home earlier than me.

I smiled. "I bet you still managed to get here on time. How many minutes early were you?"

"Twenty minutes. I wanted to go over some things with Mr Benedict before the trial started," he answered.

I shook my head. "My husband is literally perfect," I gushed.

He gave me a sidelong look but smiled. "Don't try to distract me. What kind of stuff were you taking care of?"

"Oh, nothing important," I drawled. "Just some absolutely and totally amazing. You'll find out soon enough!"

"Should I be scared?" He asked.

"Always," I answered mischievously. "You don't have to go anywhere else today, do you? You're coming straight home?"

"Yes, straight home. I already picked up all my stuff from the office."

"Great! Then I'll see you at home." I waved at him and ran off to my car.

It would've been nice to ride together but the division was not safe enough for us to leave any car lying around outside, even at the courthouse.

I swung into my car and gunned the engine, singing aloud in my car the entire drive home. I had to beat him home if my plan was to work.

When I got home, he was still out of sight. 'Great!'

I switched on the lights in the living room, stopping to appreciate my work of art then I switched them off again.

How much time did I have left?

Just as I finished changing clothes, I heard his car pulling in. Oh, shit! The candles.

I ran pell-mell to the kitchen to get the lighter and flew back to light the eight big scented candles I'd set up.

I managed to finish just as the door started opening. I didn't have time to return the lighter so I tossed it blindly into a corner.

The door opened to reveal Parker standing in the doorway with a bouquet in his hands. "Awwn," I crooned at the sight.

He peeked into the house and smiled. "Wow," he said, admiring the sight. I'd pushed back the chairs in the living room to make way for a big bed which I placed in the centre of the room, on the floor.

It was wrapped in a white clothe. On top of it, I'd laid cute red and white pillows.

A trail of red petals marked the path from the door to where I stood in front of the bed.

The lights from the candles I lighted flickered beautifully, creating a warm, romantic atmosphere.

"Please come in, dear sir," I said, twisting my hand in my hair and giving him a coy look.

He walked in. "This is amazing. When did you have the time to do all this?"

I grimaced. "All the time I should have been on my way to the court."

He laughed. "Well, I have something for you too." He held out the bouquet to me.

I collected it. "Wow, this is so beautiful! Thank you!" I threw my hands around his neck, instantly crushing the flowers.

He pulled me me closer and claimed my lips. As usual, the kiss was sweet and slow, euphoric and enrapturing. Like I was floating on a perfume cloud.

He broke the kiss. "All of this is beautiful," he said. "But out of everything, my favourite is this." He drew the strap of my cloth lightly and let it snap back against my skin.

I'd bought the hot red lingerie set specially for today. It was the sexiest thing I'd ever worn. I was glad he liked it. I could feel just how much he liked it against my thigh.

He pushed me back lightly onto the bed and crawled on top of me. I reached up and pulled him down impatiently, recapturing his lips.

I threw my legs around his waist, pressing his crotch against mine.

Waves of pleasure enveloped me as he began to move against me on his own. I moaned into his mouth but soon even that wasn't enough.

The clothes! I wanted the clothes gone. I blindly pulled at his shirt, struggling to undo his buttons.

He grabbed my hand and pushed it away gently and started to undo them himself while I waited and watched through impatient eyes.

"The trousers too," I said in a husky voice as soon as he got the shirt off.

The moment the trousers came off, I pulled him down on top of me again. An eternity later, we were both on our backs, breathing heavily.

I repositioned his arm and snuggled into his side. He hugged me closer and kissed the top of my head drowsily.

"What could ever be better than this?" I thought as I drifted off to sleep myself.
