Chapter 59: Stood Up

Joshua was waiting at the coffee shop where they were supposed to meet. Every single time the door opens or closes he hopes that it was Emily. However, she didn’t show up. Lunchtime passed and she still wasn’t there. He waited all day for her at that same table, waiting for her.

“Young Master MacClare, are you sure she will show up?”

“Yes. I’m sure of it.”

Butler Shawn was worried that Emily probably wouldn’t come. Especially after what he told him about Emily and Megan. He’s afraid that Megan might have said something to Emily and caused a misunderstanding.

“She will come. I’m sure she will. She always keeps her word no matter what happens,” said Joshua, crossing his legs.

“Alright,” sighed Butler Shawn.

“You can leave. I will call you when I need something.”

Butler Shawn nodded his head and left the coffee shop.

“She will show up. And when she does, I will explain to her the misunderstanding,” thought Joshua.
