"La, are you not in college today?" my mother asked as she peeked through the door of my room.

I stretched as I kicked the blanket, looking at the clock on my cellphone. It's still 7:40 a.m. 

"It's almost 8 o'clock, La. What time are you leaving? Aren't you afraid to be late again?" Mama still scolding me.

"My class starts at four in the afternoon, Mom. Now let me take a nap. I haven't slept since five in the morning because of an assignmentget it, "I said lazily as I pulled back my blanket.

My mom shook her head "Okay, go to sleep again when your lecture starts in the afternoon," said my mother as she closed my bedroom door again.
