Several mornings after
I heard my father saying my name repeatedly and opened one eye to see the man sitting on the bed near me.
"What are you doing here this early," I yawned and frowned seeing the space next to me bare of Rai. I glanced at my father and he looked distraught. My heart dropped.
"What is going on now," I mumbled sourly. My father inhaled deeply and sighed.
"Destiny decided to alter your friends' lives. Rai answered a call on your cell phone this morning from the hospital about their accident, you were their emergency contact. He then called me. He is hunting Destiny and her children, the fates," he said softly.
"Richard and Alejandro were in an accident," I asked and he nodded.
