Beginning

The room was decorated with various pictures of nature sceneries from all over the world and an assortment of knickknacks and other trinkets from around the globe. It was all rather cozy for a stranger who had spent three days in total sleeping under a tree. The cool rays of the sun were coming in through the window of the room, which was disturbing Esen's sleep.

The curtains were open and allowed the rays to fall across the floor, making it look like a carpet with sunlight reflecting off the marble floors. The sound of distant birds and the smell of grass make it obvious it's morning now. The air is clean and fresh, the sounds and smells are familiar yet unfamiliar, like everything she doesn't know about the world beyond her beautiful city, the country, the world.
